Iran calls US blockade an "act of war"
Tehran isn't backing down on its framing of what the US Navy is doing off its coast. Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi today called Washington's continuing naval blockade of Iranian ports an "act of war" and a clear violation of the two-week truce agreed on 8 April. An adviser to Iran's parliament speaker separately dismissed Trump's ceasefire extension as meaningless, saying "the losing side cannot dictate terms."
