Hundreds of passengers stuck on Emirates plane for 10 hours

An Emirates Airbus A380, carrying over 300 passengers, was held at a Chinese airport for more than 10 hours after severe thunderstorms caused its flight to be diverted. The plane, travelling from Dubai to Shanghai, landed in Hangzhou on July 22, but passengers were kept on board until the next morning. Conditions inside the cabin reportedly became sweltering after the air conditioning lost power.
