Iran's military has continued fighting against American and Israeli forces, launching retaliatory strikes despite losing its top leaders in a recent attack. Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari created the 'Decentralised Mosaic Defence' doctrine, implemented from 2007, to ensure sustained resistance. The strategy reorganised Iran's forces into 31 independent provincial commands, enabling rapid action after the February 28, 2026 strikes.
