How does one cell batch treat hundreds of patients?

Engineered donor immune cells, mass-produced in one batch, supply hundreds of doses instead of one bespoke treatment per patient. Zelluna's ZI-MA4-1 therapy gave Tracy Tomlinson, 58, of Chadderton three infusions at Manchester's Christie NHS Foundation Trust after her stage 3C ovarian cancer returned. She had endured 48 chemotherapy rounds already, and only around 15% of women survive advanced ovarian cancer five years.
