Heatwave reveals lost Roman and World War One sites in Wales

Across Wales, a prolonged period of hot, dry weather has caused archaeological features, such as Roman structures and World War One practice trenches, to become visible. Many of these locations, some not observed for decades, are only discernible when viewed from above, appearing as distinct patterns in vegetation.
