Gunman kills Canadian tourist at Mexican pyramids
One of the world's most visited archaeological sites turned into a crime scene in front of hundreds of tourists. A gunman opened fire on visitors at Mexico's Teotihuacán pyramids near Mexico City around 11:30am local time yesterday, killing a Canadian woman and wounding 13 others before shooting himself. The shooter was named as 27-year-old Julio César Jasso Ramírez. Six Americans, three Colombians, two Brazilians and a Russian were among the injured.
