French government bond yields fell on Tuesday following Marine Le Pen's pledge to achieve €140 billion in net savings by 2032 should she triumph in next year's presidential election. France's 10-year government bond yield fell by about 14 basis points to 4.72%. The fall also narrowed the gap between French and German government debt, helping the euro recover from a 17-month low.
