Former Thai MP kills official, second Nonthaburi shooting in days

Former Nonthaburi MP Chalong Reawraeng shot and killed provincial council president Pol Col Thongchai Yenprasert on Monday morning, wounding his driver, police said. Thongchai was hit four times outside the Nonthaburi government complex and died at Phra Nang Klao Hospital; Chalong surrendered and reportedly phoned a live news show admitting it. It was the province's second deadly shooting in days, after Friday's school attack.
