Former archbishop says Nigel Farage uses Christianity to push anti-Muslim feeling
Dr Rowan Williams, who was archbishop of Canterbury until 2012, doubts the Reform UK leader actually worries about his own soul. He told the New Humanist magazine that nationalist groups are claiming a religious identity simply as a quick way to find someone to blame. He also questioned how far-right activist Tommy Robinson balances his newfound faith with speeches meant to provoke hostility.
