Family of British Couple Jailed in Iran Demand Tougher UK Action

Lauren Hurley / No 10 Downing Street, OGL v3, via Wikimedia Commons

The family of Craig and Lindsay Foreman, a British couple jailed in Iran for alleged spying, have urged the government to do much more after meeting Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband. The pair, from East Sussex, were arrested in January 2025 during a round-the-world motorbike trip and deny the charges. Their family wants their detention formally recognised as arbitrary and possible legal action against Iran considered.
