EU migration chief criticises Spain's plan to regularise 500,000 migrants

The EU's top migration official called Spain's plan to regularise undocumented migrants "not a good signal" for Europe. Criticism followed an emergency meeting of EU interior ministers on Tuesday, held to discuss the recent Ceuta crisis. Spain's interior minister reported that approximately 70,000 of the 72,000 individuals who arrived in Ceuta had since departed.
