England and Wales Water Companies Face Stricter Government Oversight
The government is initiating a major overhaul of the water industry in England and Wales, introducing measures such as unannounced inspections and MOT-style checks for water companies. Environment Secretary Emma Reynolds stated that these reforms aim to address public concerns about pollution, leaks, and outages.
