Police were called to a disturbance at about 13:30 BST on Monday, finding 57-year-old Yvonne Kemp's body at a property on Crondall Street in Moss Side. Greater Manchester Police launched a murder inquiry, taking a 26-year-old woman into custody on suspicion of murder. Kemp's family described her as a "much-loved mum, nana, sister and auntie" who would "do anything for anyone".
