Elon Musk Says Tesla Will Wind Down Cybertruck

Elon Musk said Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at its Texas Gigafactory around mid-2027 to free space for more Cybercab robotaxis. Austin is the only plant known to build the angular pickup, which has sold poorly since its 2023 launch, with analysts estimating about 70,000 deliveries against an old target of 250,000 a year. He did not say whether truck making would move elsewhere.
