A drink-driver deliberately swerved his Mercedes into a cyclist after the rider hit his wing mirror, a jury at Norwich Crown Court has heard. David Morgan, 40, admits the manslaughter of Richard Smith, 50, in Chartwell Road, Norwich, in May but denies murder. Prosecutors said Morgan had been drinking, had his children in the car and tested positive for cannabis and cocaine after his arrest.
