Donald Trump's team again seeks to remove Federal Reserve governor Lisa Cook

Donald Trump's team has restarted efforts to remove Lisa Cook, the first Black woman to be a governor at the Federal Reserve, America's central bank. She received a letter dated August 5, threatening her position and citing unproven mortgage fraud allegations. Cook's lawyers say there is no valid reason to remove her, and they will challenge it.
