The US president recently told his team to set up face-to-face talks during his upcoming trip to Asia, according to the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday. American officials say the discussion could happen this November when he travels to Shenzhen in China for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit. Reuters has not yet been able to verify the newspaper's claims.
