China blocks seven American firms and tightens rules on drone exports

Officials in Beijing said Wednesday's decision was a direct response to recent US rules targeting China's telecom networks and laboratories. China's commerce ministry has also stopped American agencies from running mandatory factory checks and started a security review of foreign printers. The banned US groups include human rights advocates and a product testing business based in Arizona.
