Michael Carrick was back at Manchester United's Carrington base on Tuesday to lead training, a day after club bosses held crisis talks over his future. United have won just two of their 12 games this season and sit 16th after Sunday's 3-0 home defeat by Bournemouth. Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann are seen as the leading options if the club decides to make a change.
