Cambridge professor Jason Arday found dead in London
Jason Arday, who resigned from Cambridge University earlier this month following a plagiarism scandal, has been found dead in Battersea, south London. The Metropolitan Police said officers were called by London Ambulance Service on Friday afternoon, and no cause of death has been given. Arday became Cambridge's youngest Black professor in 2023, before stepping down over allegations he had fabricated parts of his academic record.
