Cabinet Splits as Starmer Faces Gravest Leadership Challenge

Sir Keir Starmer faces the gravest challenge of his premiership as over 70 Labour MPs called on him to resign or set a departure timetable following the party's loss of more than 1,400 councillors. Several cabinet ministers also urged him to outline when he would step down. Multiple government aides resigned on Monday in solidarity with the calls.
