At the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, U.S. skier Breezy Johnson captures women’s downhill gold, while Canada secures silver in the short track mixed team relay. Norway continues its success with gold in men’s skiathlon and women’s normal hill. Canadian hockey captain Marie-Philip Poulin is ruled out with a lower-body injury. These results follow Norway’s record 37 medals in 2022, compared to 25 for the United States, highlighting the ongoing rivalry.
