Body of Missing Christmas Day Swimmer Recovered in Devon

A body believed to be that of a 47-year-old man was found at Sandy Bay near Exmouth on Tuesday, after two swimmers went missing on Christmas Day at Budleigh Salterton, Devon. One of the missing swimmers was identified as 64-year-old Matthew Upham, a local antiques dealer. Emergency services were alerted at 10:25 GMT on December 25th after swimmers encountered difficulties. Tributes have been paid to Upham, with singer Kate Bush expressing her heartbreak over the loss of her friend.
