Barry's hepatitis A outbreak, active since May, is still being managed by officials

A hepatitis A outbreak in Barry has been active since May, according to confirmation from health officials. Public Health Wales, working with partners, continues to manage the viral infection which affects the liver. Good hand hygiene is still advised to prevent spread, and vaccination is offered to contacts of confirmed cases.
