Australian doctors often prescribe high-THC medicinal cannabis lacking evidence

Australian doctors are commonly prescribing medicinal cannabis with high THC levels, up to four times what's been clinically tested. A Monash University review found no pre-market evaluation for most products, with half of approvals being high-strength. Experts expressed misgivings that certain prescribers are putting financial gain ahead of patient well-being.
