Australia orders Roblox to stop adults messaging kids without their parents' permission
The gaming platform has three months to make accounts for young users private as standard and upgrade its complaints systems. The eSafety Commissioner, Australia's online watchdog, demanded the legally binding changes on Thursday after tests revealed adults could still message children. For the first time, the tech company must also hire an outside expert to check if its age-verification tools actually work.
