Aung San Suu Kyi looked healthy in rare prison photographs

The imprisoned ex-head of Myanmar, Aung San Suu Kyi, appeared in good condition in photographs taken when the aid organisation the International Committee of the Red Cross came to see her. Her son Kim Aris welcomed the news as a positive step after years of silence following the military coup. Officials in Naypyidaw released pictures showing the 81-year-old Nobel laureate cutting a birthday cake.
