Artemis II crew splash down safely after historic 10-day moon mission
NASA's Artemis II crew splashed down in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California on Friday 10 April, completing a 10-day mission that took four astronauts around the moon and back. US Navy and Air Force teams moved to recover Commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, and mission specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen. The mission set a new record for the farthest humans have ever travelled from Earth, reaching 252,760 miles.
