Anthropic plans to spend $517 billion on AI computing power

Despite its CEO calling for slower development, AI lab Anthropic has committed to spending $517 billion on computing power over the last 11 months. Anthropic's $517 billion commitment is a significant increase from its previously disclosed $180 billion in commitments. Nvidia, AMD, Alphabet, Broadcom, and Amazon are all expected to gain from Anthropic's massive investment.
