Anthropic lets US Claude users link bank and card accounts to check spending

Anthropic's Personal Finance tool for its Claude chatbot can sort spending into categories like rent, food and shopping, and flag duplicate charges, unexpected fees and steadily rising bills. Anthropic announced it on Thursday, and it connects through Plaid, a service that links bank accounts to apps, with read-only access, so it can't move or invest money.
