Andy Burnham urges wealthier areas to house more asylum seekers

Andy Burnham believes richer parts of the UK need to take in more asylum seekers to share the responsibility. He said on Tuesday that it is unfair for only the poorest communities to house them, responding to protests in Oxfordshire over a new site. However, shadow home secretary Chris Philp argued that no illegal immigrants should be housed anywhere.
