3.5 million people switched broadband or landline in two years
The rising cost of living has prompted approximately 3.5 million individuals to change their landline or broadband provider during the past two years. Ofcom, the telecoms regulator, said that 4% of customers missed a payment last quarter. The regulator also noted that out-of-contract customers could save over £100 a year by switching deals.
