Trump considers renaming Lake Ontario to 'Lake America' as Canada trade war deepens

Donald Trump said on Tuesday he is thinking about calling Lake Ontario "Lake America" because of the ongoing trade dispute with Canada. The renaming idea follows the US imposing 50% duties on Canadian goods worth US$20 billion over the weekend. Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney has questioned America's reliability, saying Canada is finding partners elsewhere.
