US warns countries to cut Iran ties or face sanctions

America's Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced new sanctions on Monday, telling countries to stop doing business with Iran or risk US retaliation. The Trump administration is trying to cut Iran off from the global economy, with Mr Bessent saying they know which countries are still trading. Iran's currency reached an unprecedented low, with the rial's value falling to 2.02 million per US dollar.
