Explained in plain English

Why did the EU vote?

The European Union Parliament voted in 2019 to end the practice of seasonal clock changes. This was largely due to public demand and concerns about the potential health impacts and economic disruptions caused by the shifts. However, despite the vote, member states couldn't agree on a common approach, so the changes continue for now.
