Who forecasts space weather?

Just like regular weather, space weather needs forecasting to help us prepare. The Met Office has a dedicated 24/7 team focused on this, trying to predict solar events up to three days before they reach Earth. This early warning, improved by research from Aberystwyth University, gives operators of critical infrastructure time to take protective measures.
