What is a transfer window?
A transfer window is a specific period, usually twice a year, when football clubs can buy and sell players between each other. Outside these windows, transfers like Chelsea's record deal for Morgan Rogers generally can't happen. It stops clubs constantly changing their squads mid-season, bringing some stability to the league.
