What is a free agent?
In football, a free agent is a player whose contract with their previous club has expired, meaning they are not tied to any team. This allows them to negotiate with new clubs without a transfer fee being paid. Mohamed Salah is expected to sign with Trabzonspor as a free agent, making the move simpler for the Turkish club.
