What is a supertanker?

Supertankers are enormous ships designed to carry vast quantities of crude oil, often millions of barrels at a time. Their immense size makes them highly efficient for long-distance transport, but also makes them high-value targets in conflict zones. The two ships in the story, the Sidr and Senegal Prosperity, are examples of these giants of the sea.
