Projectiles strike two supertankers filled with Saudi crude leaving the Strait of Hormuz

The attacks happened just minutes apart late on Monday as the ships sailed off the coast of Oman, though all crew members are safe. The Saudi-flagged Sidr and the Liberian-flagged Senegal Prosperity had each picked up two million barrels of oil last week. Global energy prices rose on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump threatened to launch more strikes against Iran.
