What is a ruptured stomach lining?

A ruptured stomach lining means there's a tear or hole in the protective layer of the stomach. This is a very serious condition, as stomach acid can leak out and cause severe damage to surrounding organs. Ryan Swain's projectile vomiting, described as part of his 'violent allergic reaction' to atomoxetine, was so extreme it led to this dangerous internal injury, requiring extensive hospital treatment.
