What is a pre-season match?
Pre-season matches are friendly games played by football clubs before the official league season begins. They're used to build player fitness, test new tactics, and integrate new signings. While the results don't count, they're an early chance for fans to see the squad, which is why Enzo Fernandez's return as a substitute against Real Sociedad was noteworthy.
