What counts as free sugars
Free sugars are any sugars added to food and drinks by manufacturers or cooks, plus those naturally present in honey, syrups and unsweetened fruit juices. As the story highlights, these differ from the whole fruits and vegetables your body processes more slowly. Keeping track of them is key to staying under that recommended daily limit of thirty grams.
