The UK sugar limit
Health guidelines exist to protect us from overindulging, yet many Britons exceed them daily without realising. The UK government advises that free sugars should make up no more than five percent of our daily calories. For an average adult, this works out to roughly thirty grams, a surprisingly small amount found in everyday snacks.
