How does the test work?

The at-home test kit contains a simple swab that women use to collect a sample from themselves. This sample is then posted to an NHS lab. The lab tests the sample for high-risk HPV. If HPV is detected, the woman is then invited for a follow-up appointment with a clinician for further checks.
