How do vibrating trucks work?

The vibrotrucks in Munich create small, controlled vibrations that act like mini-earthquakes. These vibrations travel deep underground, bouncing off different rock layers and water pockets. Geophones on the surface then 'listen' to these echoes, allowing scientists to build a detailed 3D map of the subsurface, much like how bats use sound to navigate.
