How do AI scams work?

AI models are becoming very good at extracting personal information from public sources, like your holiday photos. In this story, AI analysed images to pinpoint locations, making scam messages more believable. This technique, known as social engineering, exploits human trust and curiosity, making it harder to spot a fake message from a genuine one.
