AI now uses holiday photos to make scams more convincing
Criminals are using AI to analyse holiday pictures for location details, making their fraud attempts like fake bank texts seem more real. Anti-virus firm McAfee tested two AI models, which accurately identified locations in 91% and 87% of over 21,000 travel images. To stay safe, delay posting holiday photos until you're home and always contact companies directly, not through links in suspicious messages.
