Israel and Lebanon Hold Historic Talks for First Time Since 1993
The conflict has killed more than 2,000 people and displaced over a million in Lebanon, prompting calls for a ceasefire. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio brokered the first high-level talks between Israel and Lebanon since 1993, aiming to end fighting with Hezbollah. Despite the talks, Hezbollah continued launching attacks against Israel throughout Tuesday.
