Google now auto-expands AI answers, pushing links down

Google's AI search summaries are now automatically expanding for certain queries, which means users must scroll further to locate conventional links. A Google spokesperson said this happens when their systems decide it's most helpful, and users find it more useful. The company also said it cancels expansion if users are already scrolling to avoid losing their place.
